Product Co-ordinator (Electric Component)
(Singapore)

Responsibilities:

  • Process orders to suppliers and subcontractors
  • Compile Resale / Consumption / Forecast Report
  • Update Price and Margin into Database system
  • Monitor demand and supply situation
  • Co-ordinate incoming shipment
  • Assist product manager in co-ordinating product matters

Requirements:

  • Minimum 'A' level / Diploma
  • Bilingual in English and Mandarin - for communication with suppliers and subcontractors
  • PC & typing literate and able to use Microsoft office
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and administrative skills
  • Knowledge in Oracle in electronic order processing preferred
  • Experience in local/overseas shipment co-ordination
  • Minimum 3 years experience in similar capacity

Senior Finance Executive

Senior Finance Executive (up to $4000)

Job Responsibilities:

  • 1. Financial Management

    • Supervise and ensure smooth operation in the daily activities of SAP finance & Accounting dept.
    • Perform and maintenance accurate data entry in Oracle Financial system i.e. General ledger, fixed assets & inventory closing.
    • Prepare & submit monthly financial reporting package, Liaise with auditors & tax agents for annual statutory returns, prepare GST return, survey and government statistics.
    • Liaise with bankers for cash/credit facilities arrangement and forecast the SGP entities weekly cashflow & forex position.
    • Assist on preparation of yearly budget/forecast activities.
    • Assist in other ad hoc duties as assigned.

    2. General Ledger/Inventory

    • Responsible for prepare and raise month end closing journal entries for SGP entities.
    • Perform Oracle Inventory module monthly closing & reporting; coordinate in quarterly & annual physical stock count activities.
    • Responsible for providing support on other finance & accounting activities i.e. ensure Oracle sub-modules are closed at month end & review of accounts coding.
    • Liaise with auditors, tax agents, Company Secretary & government agencies for annual audit, corporate affairs, statutory board survey returns & JSOX compliance review.
    • Prepare monthly GL accounts analysis with comments & explanation on expenses fluctuation (i.e. Budget vs Actual & balance sheet listing).

    3. Fixed Assets

    • Maintain complete fixed assets records in Oracle system inclusive of CIP and keep proper supporting documents.
    Perform fixed assets count & reconcile with fixed assets register records, follow up by fixed asset tagging with IT dept assistance.

Job Requirements:

  • Diploma in Accountancy/ LCCI
  • At least 5 - 8 years of relevant experience in a similar scope
  • Oracle software is preferred

Care Corner Singapore is a home-grown charity that grew out of a concern for those commonly referred to as the blue-collar workers. Work began in 1981 with the provision of a Hotline Counselling service in Mandarin. We have come a long way and today our services range from the provision of Infant Care, to Family support including Student Care and Elderly care.

SENIOR/ SOCIAL WORKER
(Singapore - Queenstown, Admiralty, Toa Payoh, Woodlands[Map])

Responsibilities:

Social Worker in Family Service Centre

Casework & Management
1. Conduct case consultations, maintain a caseload as assigned, update records of client’s case files and monitor their progress through progress indicators.
2. Liaise with relevant organisations regarding the welfare of the client.
3. Counsel clients (age range from children, youths, adults and elderly) and advise them on behavioural management and other problems.
4. For Senior Social Workers, must provide supervision to Social Workers.


Volunteer Development
1. Liaise with relevant volunteer recruitment bodies to recuit, select, train and place volunteers in centre programmes or other events under the centre’s purview.
2. Supervise volunteers and keep them engaged in meaningful activities, and fully utilise centre’s limited resources (due to tight budgets/funding) in the process.

Community/Support Programmes
1. Identify, assess and prioritise the needs of the community.
2. Initialise new programmes through needs analysis and surveys. Collate and analyse community trends.
3. Draft and submit proposals to the ministries to request for support and funding on new programmes.
4. Co-ordinate programmes – may specialise in specific areas, e.g. youth work, pre-marital programmes, extra-marital support groups, elderly work, etc.
5. Provide information and referral services to clients, e.g. linking them to other ministries, self-help organisations if help requested is beyond the centre’s scope.
6. Plan and run workshops/talks on preventive measures for community issues (e.g. parenting skills, etc.)

Requirements:
1. Candidate must possess at least Degree in Social Work or Other Degree with a Professional Certificate in Social Work.

2. Conversant in English and another 2nd language eg Mandarin, Malay or Tamil (to liaise with clients and associates of all races)

3. For Senior positions, minimum 5 years of relevant experience with a Diploma in Counselling and Certificate in Clinical supervision or equivalent.

4. Candidates must be willing to work in Toa Payoh/Woodlands/Queenstown/Admiralty.
Applicants should be Singaporean citizens or hold relevant residence status.

5. Must be registered with Social Work Accredition Board (SWAB)
